Impact of ATLAS Scholarship Program since 2015
Through the ATLAS Scholarship Program, Ventura Housing residents pursuing college, vocational training, and continuing education receive financial support to help overcome barriers and achieve their educational goals. Since the program launched in 2015, the scholarship program has:
- Awarded 51 scholarships to Ventura Housing students
- Distributed more than $92,000 in educational support
- Helped students pursue degrees and training in fields such as nursing, engineering, psychology, education, and business
These scholarships represent more than financial assistance; they are a powerful stepping stone toward opportunity, independence, and long-term success, breaking the cycle of poverty and opening the door to stability. By investing in students today, we are strengthening families, communities, and the future workforce of Ventura County.
